so i had an idea for what is possibly the most obscure but also the best crossover ever:

Fallen Ankh-Morpork.

just. Discworld and Fallen London have some surprising similarities and gods could you imagine Ankh-Morpork in the Neath

the Disc isn’t as thick as Roundworld but since the Neath already defies the Sequence i see no problem with sticking the whole thing inside some gnarly ground.
i don’t know about the intermediary three cities but the First City was Um.
Vetinari sold Ankh-Morpork to the Bazaar for a frankly ridiculous cut of the profits and a controlling share in the enterprise; the Masters were utterly dumbfounded that a human made a deal with them that wasn’t out of desperation.
this of course gave him time to order the Quirmean Canal built and rejigger infrastructure so that everything didn’t fall to shit. Moist had to manage this and was both frustrated and extremely excited.
Vimes has some lowkey ancestral urges to behead the Masters but he’s too busy, there’s still crime in the Neath.

at least there’s already procedures for somebody testifying at the trial of their murderer.

you don’t go to the tomb-colonies if you’re missing too many bits; you go to the tomb-colonies if you think the dead should have their own nation. Reg Shoe is involved.
Death treats the entire affair as a vacation. he takes in the sunny, or at least brightly lit, shores of the Elder Continent.
a lot of dwarf law has to be rewritten to account for the new circumstances. the moderate faction goes the way of the C of E and shrugs at everything; the extreme faction becomes the Liberation of Night.
the Masters fight a lot about whose purview troll goods are. some Masters think it’s the physical substance that counts; some think it’s what’s done with them. trolls play both sides.

trolls also get heavily involved with the iron republic and parabola. moving backwards through time lets them smash paradoxes like a brick wall.

golems and clay men chum it up; they have totally different animating forces but there’s a sense of BROTHERHOOD IN CLAY (hell both of them even speak in capital letters).
the Masters just sort of show up at the guildhalls and inveigle themselves in to minimize fuss. how well they’re received depends on the guild. Rosie Palms is Sinning Jenny.
Ankh-Morpork was the first Disc city the Bazaar took with a scientific understanding of narrativium. consequently, it finds a suitable love story for the Bazaar within a few decades.
Rincewind wins the Marvelous trying to run away from it and he decides to put Ankh-Morpork back before the Bazaar can fly away with it. you can’t get good potatoes down here for shit.
the Bazaar gets a happy ending and everyone in Ankh-Morpork decides to forget “those thirty-something years we spent in a giant cave”, except of course when people come up the Quirmean Canal to buy stuff.

Almost nothing actually changes, and the weirdness of the Neath is subsumed by Ankh-Morpork just like it does everything else
The wizards haven’t even noticed, actually, except that maybe the Tower of Art doesn’t actually fit properly probably? It’s fused with the ceiling at any rate
HEX does become the Dawn Machine tho

I’m not sure who gets real big into the Correspondence, the wizards or the alchemists, but I’d bet Ponder is into it. Maybe they get over their differences over it. Probably not.
The Masters of the Bazaar do not Like how in-control Vetinari seems to be about them taking his city and dropping it on Hell’s doorstep, and how he seems to know exactly what he got into

He doesn’t even know how these people knew he existed. He just wants to live a nice dull life in the Tomb-Colonies, if not the University. Keeps hearing voices from wells, keeps telling them to shut the hell up and leave me alone
He keeps getting sent out to Zee and he hates it so much
The Assassin’s Guild has been doing much more work for far lower rates. People argue about whether or not this is a good thing.

Poor Death. His job has always been confusing when it comes to the Neath, it’s halfway to his domain anyway, and it’s dark, and he can’t find people when they sneak away. People keep calling him Mr Death because of the robes. He sort of gives up down there and only visits to hang out w the cats, but he does still collect people whose bodies become irrevocable.

I have NO IDEA how a turtle flying through space carrying a disc-planet would adapt to the Sunless Skies future universe, but, weirder things have happened?

I found meanings in the main characters names the meaning are really investing because it shows that the writers chose the best names to describe the characters personality and role in lamento.
the characters names are written in katakana i found kanji in their names that shut there personality down here

Konoe

“Ko” in konoe’s name could be “子” meaning child funny since he’s the youngest and allows made fun of for being a little kid
“小” meaning heart, mind, soul, meaningful since he wears his heart on his sleeve.
“No” in konoe’s name“乃” being the Japanese particle of “of”
“E” in his name could be “衛” meaning defense and protection. references his status of a sanga his song to protect others
his whole name in kanji “近衛” means “near, close” reminding his personalty being kind or his village being near.

Rai

rai’s “雷” name could mean thunder and lightning
but his real meaning is this “頼” meaning “trust”
very fitting since his whole arc revolves around him trusting others again.

Asato

Asato has a few meanings in his name
“安里” means “safe village” referecing to the kira being isolated from the rest of the world regarded as safe.
“朝人” “morning person” and “朝戸” “morning door” this referencing a couple things how asato is awkward around others and social norms and how he lived in the village kira not knowing so much of the outside world.
so his name is a transition to asato’s character how he changes in the arc.

Bardo

the meaning behind bardo’s name refers to how he acted in his arc, as someone who didn’t really care if he lived or died and ran from his mistakes.
